Dear Fiends

We are excited for our ninth year of Extreme Faith, the biggest and longest running non-denominational youth conference in northern Minnesota!

Extreme Faith exists as a quality youth event serving the northern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota Region. Our mission is to "Lead students into relationship with God and other followers of Christ, ministry to all and reach out to those who don't have a personal relationship with Christ."

We believe that keeping Extreme Faith local and focusing on relationships, we provide a more intimate and personal experience. Students who have attended Extreme Faith have said it helped them take their relationship with Jesus deeper, it helped them take a stand for what they believe in and most importantly students have made that first time commitment to become a follower of Christ.

At Extreme Faith 2007 students will experience fun and intimate worship, relevant teaching and interact with hundreds of other students that will leave a life changing impact.

As you organize and plan your fall youth activities we hope that you will include Extreme Faith in those plans. Give us a try, we know you will not be disappointed.

Extreme Bible Quizzing

New this year to Extreme Faith is Extreme Quizzing

Bible Quizzing is set up for 3 teams of 4 quizzers each to quiz against each other. Each team can have extra quizzers available as substitutes. Twenty questions will be asked for each round of competition with each question worth 20 points. Each person will be sitting on a light pad and the first one to stand up when a question is being asked will have their light go off and will be asked to answer the question.  The team with the most points at the end of each round wins that round.  Every team will quiz the same number of times and then the top 3 teams will have a final quiz-off during the last large group session.

Based out of this years’ theme, we have chosen the book of Philippians (NIV) as the book to study.  We are inviting groups or individuals to work on learning Philippians as best they can.  We are asking for an adult from each church to be their team(s) coach. Since this is a new event for this year, we will be giving each coach the actual questions we will be using. You can use these question when working with your students, but do not give the questions to the students to study. We want them to study Philippians, but using the questions will help them understand how it will work. Make sure you study out of the NIV.

For those who are interested in exploring Bible Quizzing this year, please feel free to contact Pastor Mark Waller at Faith Baptist Church, Park Rapids - 218-732-1404. Pastor Mark can answer try to any questions you may have and will send you the specific rules and questions for you to use.
